Being the Youtube addict I am, I accidentally stumbled into a 'Let's Play' of a Megaman mod, or 'Hack' the other day. In contrast to many such fan-mods it was actually really well done, staying true to the original's structure while arranging its obstacles in unique ways to ramp up the challenge, but not to ridiculous levels such as the infamous 'Kaizo Mario World'.
But what suprised me even more was that the creator's claim that it was far easier to make than the Let's Player had guessed, that he only used a couple of spriting programs.
If anyone here is remotely connected to the Mega-Mod scene, could I have your suggestions for programs for someone wanting to at least see what it's like? Obviously you must have the ROM, but what else?
And before someone says the majority of those are too difficult to be any fun, I am well aware of that fact.
