Creativity with Superpowers

you should be able to destroy any matter into its most basic elements if you shake them at a certain frequency. you would also be able to create earthquakes and tilde waves, erupt volcanoes, control all sound, use air like a canon or something, and you might be able to control light.

I only recently had the pleasure of obtaining InFamous, and very recently, an hour before this new decade, the pleasure of beating it (I went Hero, it's just my thing). Most of the time I caught myself thinking "Man, this guy can project and control electricity! I know the game designers want you to be challenged, but I can't help but feel that this guy could get a lot more pwning done with some imagination."

So recently I was thinking of something else (a superpower) that was broad, and had a lot of potential, but is generally a limited ability without enough creativity.

I ended up choosing control of vibration, in general. I was wondering what you members of the Escapist thought could be done with the ability to manipulate vibration. Also, if you don't want to use the given power, pitch something and give some examples.

I'm hoping this should be fun. I figure that vibrational control is basically sound control, with a good ear and practice with the power. Also temperature, and maybe turning the air into solid mass. But I'm not sure.

The game is afoot.

A superhero with the power of vibration would never be taken seriously, to many sex toy jokes could be made

Edit : The Shocker ( Marvel comic villain) has some sort of vibrate based power though I'm not sure of the exact details

Vibration really can do just about anything. You could even make music with it if you were really precise!
I think an amazing power to have would be to control the weather. If you controlled the weather, you could probably destroy the world.
For one thing you could create typhoons and hurricanes to level entire cities, but if you were powerful enough, you could solve global warming! You could control air fronts and currents, which could be manipulated to alter temperature!
Basically, if you control the weather, you control the Earth.

To control matter in its simplest is to control protons, neutrons and electrons. You can control heat, electricity, space. Control of matter is only limited by your creativity and the laws of physics. And that my friend is no limit at all. I would kill, litterally hundereds of people, for that power.

the real question would be, could anybody make a superhero to STOP him once you do?

A superhero who can control energy! Only like 2% of the universe is matter.

You could be telekinetic and if you come up against a really.. heavy person instead of using your power to move them, which would be exchausting trust me I'm a pro, you could pick up other objects. Or more creatively you could use your power to draw water from a nearby source and surround them with it, nicely drowning them.

I could be narcasstic and say everything, but I meant pro at the understanding of telekinesis.

Anyway, you see sir, I actually have no life and have studied (got bored and went on Wikipedia)telekinesis as portrayed in comic books. So I have a pretty good understand on how it works, in comic books.

It's been said before, but it's still just a crappier version of telekinesis.

Creative Perks (I decided to make my powers into Fallout Perks instead, not all of them make sense when applied in the game, but you can just shut-up, sounds good?)
-Isometric:Being able to fuse into surfaces like a picture and move around them and come out, can be used to get through doors. I wonder what happens if you do it to a mirror.

-Eucharist: You project a field that turns certain liquids into Alcohol, and by certain liquids I mean blood.

-Gusher: You can never bleed out, guess why.

-Molester: You can feel people and items through the vibrations and torque of the earth.
