Ok first off, go out and buy this, but don't expect it to be the end all be all canvas for your most-likely-horrible imagination. Its not really so much a game as it is a full fledged tool for creating the wildest things that pop up in your imagination, or maybe a giant walking penis that shoots acid out of its urethra.Or whatever floats your boat.

Now on to the review...
Since this isn't really a "game" so-to-speak so I can't review its gameplay. The closest thing I can do is judge it on how well it achieved what it wanted to do, which was to essentially be able to make whatever you want and make it look damn good too. It does that MOST of the time, but every once in a while you find yourself wishing that you could make your creature that has five scorpion tails look dangerous instead of cuddly wuddly cute. This rarely happens, as most of the time you are more than happy about what you created. The point I'm trying to make here is that all the parts have a central art style that ranges from completely cartoony to sureal, but this will eventually limit you from making what you want, some times I want a bare bones frightening creature, and instead I end up with something that looks like it came from the same universe that the other creatures did. Frankly It just takes away the from the aspect that your creating a truly alien creature.

Now I know thats alot of negativity, but this "application" is just amazing, its like drawing something and watching it come to life. Plus it does it in a way to where 90% of the time, it looks like a pixar artist did it. Not to mention that this is a truly unique program, and the full version only costs 10$.

I'm not done with my whining though! This may sound completely nuts but after swithcing form the normal version to the full version, I almost think that the sheer number of options is overwhelming in such a way that you can't make as good of a looking creature with the full version. It's just to hard to decide what makes it look the best, and you end up feeling that you half-assed your giant walking hermaphrodite with twisting horns for pubic hair, but thats just from personal experience.

Also, At times I kind of wish that you could test out the attacks and kill things in the testing "pin" cause it seems now the only Non-homosexual thing we can do is look at our baby versions and roar in there little puny annoying faces.

Cliffnotes-
The bad:
-Revolves around a limited essentially restrictive art style
-overwhelming
-leaves you wanting more, but not in a good way
The good:
-quite possibly the most unique time waster out there
-not suck-you-in-for-hours addictive, good in short bursts
-boob-monsters
-awesome for venting your creativity
-your crippled old grandma could probably make a half decent creature

Over all I give Both the trial version and full version an 8.5/10

honestly I don't run in to collision detection that much. If I do, I usually just fix something with the creature and everythings fine again.

Releasing it as a stand-alone was a good idea in my opinion.

Good review, not too much rambling, and you dotted every T and crossed every I.
