Not sure if it's been done before (a search yielded no results) but I'm looking for some games with creepy/ haunting music. Preferably without vocals (although this can be overlooked). If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated.
True, I always start peeing my pants when that music starts.Trivun said:Tetris. Enough said.
Not gonna lie, I was expecting a Rick Roll at first.cthulhu257 said:Listen to this [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zy6vl2qkVBc]. It might not sound that creepy, but if you listen to it where it shows up in the game, it's just downright epic.
Agreed. All very good choices.-Zen- said:Silent Hill. Any of them. Just pick one.
Pretty much that. It's worse when you've played Silent Hill a lot then you go on to Project Zero. The latter's sound effects aren't enemy-spawn triggered.-Zen- said:Silent Hill. Any of them. Just pick one.
I'm not sure how the previous games' scores were, but Fallout 3's was particularly interesting. For example, the orchestral tracks in the Capital Wasteland were just barely noticeable, coming and going in very ephemeral sweeps. Kind of suggests how there's just faded remnants of civilization left, and that it's not going to stay around for long.DreamKing said:I thought that the Fallout series had a very ironic music selection. It freaks me out because the light, unchanging music completely contrasts a dark, amorphous Wasteland. It shows a want to return to a stable form of life, but we all know that will not happen.
