I introduce to you one of my favorite songs, which I like to listen to while sharpening my knives and cackling manically.

I don't think anyone could ever do creepy like the Japanese.

Mitternacht by E Nomine.

Actually... just about anything from E Nomine sounds creepy because of the voice over guy.

I think he's going more for atmospheric music than just scary.

Not all of his music is creepy though, Mysteria is a good example of a nice relaxing one.

There are such things as RP clubs in school? Ohshit.

Well.. You could try some Fable songs. They are pretty spooky. Especially the music for Darkwood.
More whimsical than anything, but I would love to have someone else get the Temple of Light song stuck in their head...
Yeah, funny thing was the club had started the year I got there from what I hear and that was only a couple years ago. Now I'm one of the people in charge of it since most of the other's have graduated.

Anyways, thanks for the suggestion of the Fable music. Going to be downloading the CD now for it. I can see myself using the Darkwood music for moments of exploration. Gives a good feeling of unknown and unseen threats.
I'm going to have to make one of those when my high school starts.
Well you know, most people in high school see RP as a bit... Odd? So yeah if you do start one I advise having a sizeable group. You know what? Sod it screw the chavs.
I don't live in Europe, so I don't need to worry about chavs. All I have to fear is their U.S.A. equivalent, the white trash, and the "wiggers".

Cradle of Filth - Painting Flowers White Never Suited My Palette (Can't find a youtube video, sorry)
This is a 2 minute instrumental. I think it'd fit right in.

Oh my god the wiggers. Ewwwww. I hit them for fun... Yeah being 6'1" and decently built and having a brain and being fairly popular despite my chosen hobby has it's advantages. I can do what ever the hell I like and get away with it.

People here still see it as odd. I'm in Canada and a lot of the students here ridicule the club without knowing much about it. I was originally guilty of that sin though. Working on trying to draw more people in for next year though.

Heh.. Lucky.
I'm built like a toothpick. I'm glad I have my intellect, or else I'd be downright worthless.

Cool thread idea :). One in particular comes to mind;
Elliott Smith - Figure 8 [link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tR_jNDD5-gQ[/link].
Also there's this channel i found that has a section of video's called Disturbing video game music [link]http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=332149E0712BB093[/link] (No these aren't mine).
Also, pretty much anything from the American McGee's Alice soundtrack.

Not exactly an instrument, and not really all that creepy either. What is it, is a song that creates an atmosphere unlike any other.

Or some American McGee's Alice OST
Chris Vrenna is a genius;

edit;
I also composed a pretty creepy track a while back called 'Monsters'.
Not sure if it's a little too much percussion for what you're after but if you like, I can send you a high-qual version of it to use?

It's number 1 on the playlist here;

Don't do the Jaws or Psycho theme, they're panic inducing but in a 'awesome way to die' way. Not scary.
