Is it weird that Vin Diesel acts so much better in the games than in the films?

The G-Man's speech at the start of Half Life 2 (the first one I played, nearly pissed my pants as I didn't know what to expect) and in Episode 2 when it shows the video montage and he talks about saving Alyx.

Man he is properly scary, in fact HL2 and the episodes have a really eerie feel throughout. And when you see him just walking out of sight during a level. Shiiit.

I think The Raven is scary as. I even struggled to watch the Halloween Simpsons episode where the poem is "performed" so to speak by Homer.

It hurts it hurts it hurts ithurtsithurtsithurtsithurts...BRING HER BACK!

Kudos to anyone who knows where that's from.
Trilby's Notes, the diary near the stairwell in the Otherworld. And you're right, the it hurts thing is really creepy. But it makes sense with Chzo being the god of pain and all.

We have a winner! Give that man/woman/thing a cigar!

Also, I'd like to point out that Czho wasn't technically a god. It was a being that was nigh-omnipotent, but it lacked any sort of sentience or thought. As Yahtzee detailed in his most recent FullyRamblomatic addition, Czho might as well be nothing more than an oversized cow.

Well, yeah, but even though he's not literally a god of pain, a god of pain is the best description. Oh, and by "his most recent FullyRamblomatic addition", I take it you mean his story, The Expedition, right?

'What has four legs, two legs, then three legs?'
'Simple, a human. As a baby it crawls, as an adult, it stands tall, as an elder, it has a cane.'
'Nice guess, however, all are a baby.'
'Hm?'
'At first it has four legs, then if I cut off two of its limbs, it has two legs. Then, after I give it a crutch to hobble on, it has three.'
'That's sick! How can you say that?!'
'Simple doctor... it's not my baby...'

Maybe not a quote as a conversation, but still, The Riddler says some creepy stuff.

How astute. (The Expedition, that is)
