Before we set this fucker off, I'd just like to say a big thank you, and a well done, to the mods. That troll we just had was banned pretty god damn fast. How 'bout a hand for our benevolent overlords?
Anyway, the real purpose of this thread is thusly: Do you, or does anyone you know, have something creepy and/or unexplainable in your/their house? A friend of mine has a painting of a clown in her cellar (or basement, for you loveable Americans) with blood dripping from its hand. No one in her household knows why, or who painted it there.
Your turn. Yes, you.

I have a friend whos carpet rised for no reason, like i fist is pushing it upwards. Only me and his dog have seen it.. buts thats paranormal.

My mam has pot masks hanging on the wall and it looks like something a little girl version of Jason would wear. They are pale white with a blue edge and a red tear underneath one of the eyes

What troll?

And to answer your topic: I don't have anything creepy in my house except for... that.

I agree completely about the troll, but I get the feeling he'll be back. It looked too much like the preliminary stages of a /b/ raid for my liking. Just in case, I think someone had better head there and check them out, make sure things aren't going to get worse about now.

Anyway, we don't really have anything creepy in our house, but the house I'm sharing while at university is a pretty old terraced house and it's been refurbished completely. Used to be 8 bedroom up top with a seperate basement flat (UK btw, and I still call it 'basement') below. Now it's 9 bedroom with the flat connected to the house to make it overall a ten bedroom place (student house). I live in the basement part so I get all my own space and only share the kitchen with one other guy, yet it gets a bit creepy down here sometimes when it's late at night and everyone else has gone to bed. Maybe it's just because it's an old house though, even if it has been decorated to make it look really modern and everything...

No. I mean, why should I?

Or, actually, the better question is: Why the fuck wouldn't I throw it away then?

Erm, because something such as a painting on the wall can't really be thrown away -_-
Any particular reason you've just come in here to be a dick?

Rusty, broken, dirty mannequins... some of which have faces drawn on in marker... the CPR heads, with no eyes and the mouths open in an "O" face so you can practice rescue breathing on them. Some full-bodied, some just the heads.

Also, a couple of anatomically correct baby dolls, one boy and one girl. The girl is missing an arm, and I'm not sure whether the boy has his head... no, I think he does. They have closed eyes and faces like they're screaming, so they look like real babies. Not kidding you. It was a lot less creepy before they'd lost arms and legs and ended up in the basement.

Yes, both these things are in my basement. Very small, very moldy, wet basement.

Niki...... she scares me. =[

In all seriousness, my brother has a large, wooden, inka war mask, in his living room. it's kinda beat up and it's bloody terrorfying because he keeps moving the stupid thing.

Last time i was round his; i sat down and saw it was no longer in the room, i presumed he'd chucked it. But then i went to the toilet and low and behold; as soon as i switched on the light (i was already pissing at this point) there it was perched over the back of the toilet.
I never wore those jeans again. =[

Next to me, right now, is a statue of a facehugger. The fucking thing scares the crap out of me, not least because a) I watched Alien when I was 10. Never let that happen to another 10 year old and b) When my dad first got it, he thought it would be funny to put it in my bed so that when I pulled the covers off I'd see. Gorram it...

Let's all hear it for righteous fury!!!

On Topic: There's a freakishly realistic wood carving of an American Indian hanging on my wall. It just waits, and watches...

You mean the one about the furries and the swastika's?

O.T. Creepiest thing in my house? Probably myself, except I'm not a thing. Or am I?

Erm, of course you can.

No, no reason. I just looked at the wall, and suddenly I thought: "Lets go to Vanguard_Ex's thread, be a dick, and watch how you people "set this fucker off.""

Isn't that what all people do?

On Saturdays, at least.

EDIT: Well, my TV is creepy...when something creepy is on TV, that is.

*Wonders if Darth Pope has ever heard the completely awful and fairly racist country song 'Kaw Liga'*

A strange lump in the floor that pushes the carpet up, we've tried to beat it down with soft instruments like crowbars and hammers yet it remains, exactly as it was...and if you can't smash it with a hammer it is not a floorboard.
