This particular strip wasn't too funny, actually. Few smirks, but no laughs.

Maybe it's because for me, a giant bear talking about "bearsploitation" is not that ridiculous of a sight.

I honestly do not know. Let me put this in perspective: for me, the image of an anthropomorphic bat-cat with a laser pistol riding a dragon and getting him to swipe Commu-Nazis off of a bridge between two futuristic arcologies is a perfectly normal and understandable sight. It's still pretty awesome, though. And speaking of dragons: a fire-breathing dragon wearing makeup, now that's something... nah, still not ridiculous.

I have just re-read the strip, by the way. Smile? Check. Giggles? Check. But i still didn't fall to the floor laughing or anything like that.
