Ok, I'm a bit confused. Why would the editor green-light something like that, especially when it's apparent she doesn't approve? Am I missing something?
A core facet of Penny's character is that she's immune to criticism. She doesn't understand why you wouldnt' want to look at a picture of Fillion slipping Lion-O the spicy sausage.
Okay, that I sort of understand. The part I seem to be missing is why the editor would go "This is a terrible idea, I don't like it. Run it anyways." Maybe I'm just reading too much into it, but I just fail to see why the editor would let that pass and not say something along the lines of "Wow, this is great, but I was thinking of something more along the lines of...". Of course, that would probably kill the joke, but the editor green-lighting something they know to be a bad idea ruins it for me anyways.

EDIT: Otherwise, great comics so far. I am really enjoying them.
Sharon accepts that arguing with Penny is a battle already lost. If she sends her away to do it again she'll just come back with anoter picture of Fillion borking something. The bigger question is, "why doesn't she fire Penny?"
Simple, Penny gets shit done.

Why else would that (cute) woman be around?

Ah, thanks for the insight into the characters. I tend to be a stickler for these kinds of details, and I appreciate you taking the time to clarify it for me.

Not even ze goggles will save you from the amount of eye-burning ferocity that is Nathan and Lion-o committing homosexual acts.

I blame furries.

The aura of...lines and color drain possibly disturbs me more than Penny herself. Then there's that semi-innocent smile...

Great comic, I'd probably fall out of my chair like that too.

Penny is awesome. new favorite character, thanks to that soulless stare in the last row XD
I love the two very last panels, because Erin TOTALLY KNOWS WHAT'S COMING! Best kind of random shit is the random shit that your friends know about, but won't tell you about.

Just wanted to say, read this comic in the morning and thought about it all day at work today. I could not think about Penny without smiling, it made my day. This web comic has certainly been better than I was expecting. I've been loving it, great work!

Thanks for the laughs and thanks for brightening my day.

I'm so glad I don't really know who Lion-O and Frillion are. I know what Thundercats is, but thank god I can't picture it :V

Also, I didn't recognize Penny for a second, >.> I had to look back at the archives. SHE'S SO MOE :3
