GTA 4 - My most disliked popular game as it's simply not fun after about 20 minutes.

God of War (series) - Fun to watch, boring and dull to play.

FF7 - I personally feel this is one of the weakest entries in the series as a whole. I played it through to the end so I guess I didn't hate it.

Every AC game, every Rockstar game, uhm...

Wasn't keen on Uncharted and disliked GOW too.

Not understanding the 'I don't like Halo CE because levels are linear/copied corridors' guys. Who played it when it came out? The first level was kinda linear (no shit, spaceship) but after that you crashed down in a huge goddamn valley with bridges and weird formations and huge spaces and you were free to explore a pretty good chunk of it. And most of the levels after that had similarly open spaces and multiple routes to explore.
It was the first game I ever played that didn't just shove you in a corridor; it allowed you to choose how to approach situations. Who gives a shit if some of the textures got recycled a fair bit?

Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

The only reason I played it is becuase I wanted to play as Sonic. I could never beat it because of the whole going through levels twice, and then I had to beat the Great Maze. They told me I had to go to this point on the map, so I did. I looked everywhere for some kind of secret door, but couldn't find it.

Edit: Oh yeah, and Grand Theft Auto IV. Tried very hard to be realistic and simulate life. There were a few things that improved the game over its predecessors (spelling?), such as ragdolls and police chases.

Bioshock. The game bored the hell out of me. The story seemed interesting, but I simply could not get into the game and gave up shortly after starting the game.

Crysis. Boring!

Halo.

Just felt generic and lacking in any noticeable difference.
From what? Other shooters?

The metal gear solid series. I played through the first one hating almost every minute of it with the awful (to me) gameplay and ridiculous cut scenes, to quitting the 2nd one about half an hour of gaining control of Raiden. There was no point in me touching that series ever again.

Oh, and gta4 was way too realistic for me. I'm thankful for saints row.

Basically every modern shooter ever.

Oblivion (for obvious reasons)

GTA 4 (loved the earlier ones)

Portal 2 (It lacked everything that made the first one great)

Everything by Bioware after Baldur's Gate

This list doesn't contain console exclusive games since I'm a PC gamer.

Edit: Added stuff

Aim Assist
That means absolutely nothing to me. As I said it is all a matter of preference, superior and inferior opinions on different controls are all a persons head, there are no facts that puts one above the other. And before you say anything, I know what aim assist is, still, it means nothing in this conversation.

Super Metroid (AKA Metroid 3), for SNES.
While the controllers where perfect and graphic was awesome, I´m just going to as a fairly simple question: Where the hell am I supposed to go? No, seriously, the game never tells you. The laboratory in the beginning was a good way to start and easy to get through, but once you lands on the planet Zebes, it´s like the help interface says "Screw you! I ain't gonna tell you anything! Oh, If you want to look for clues on your way to the end, good luck, for I deleted them all! haha >:-D.
I like games that tells you where you are supposed to go, but you have the freedom to explore and power up before you go there. But this is just exploration without any form of the slightest information of where you need to go. All you know is that the last metroid is stolen by Ridely, and nothing else.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, for the Nintendo 64.
While this is a game with awesome controllers and pretty decent graphic, this game has some of the most boring dialogue sequences ever put in a video game and some retarded looking characters which are also annoying as hell. Navi will constantly yell for you to listen all the time. Even of she just want to help, she is still annoying. The Owl is the worst character in the game. He will make you read the same dialogues over and over again, and at some point, even fly you back to the Hyrule town when you´ve spent 20 min. just getting somewhere.

The scene where you take up the master sword for the first time is recommended to watch if you are tired and need help to fall asleep. This is supposed to be the most epic moment in the game, but as darkmindedsith so perfectly described it in his walkthrough: "It was actually kind of boring. There was talking, some more talking and even more talking for those especially bored".

This game may tell you where you are supposed to go and give you freedom to explore, but once you reach certain places, you need something else from far away to get through. Once you get through, you need something else to proceed which are also found at the other side of the world. Boring. But if there is one thing this game is famous for it´s the puzzles and the dreaded water temple. The puzzles can go from annoying to being a reason to quit the game. The water temple is the worst temple in the game and is just as hard even if you´ve played through it before. After these puzzles you encounter the dungeon boss. These bosses are either easy or tediously killing time as you wait for them to expose their weak point.

One funny thing about this game is the fact that I want to like this game, but I just can´t find myself to like it.

System Shock 2. After hearing all about this awesome scary game I found myself playing "Mr. FedEx in Space!" As if that wasn't enough, the "atmospheric" ghosts were mostly just transparent (ha!) tutorials, and the set pieces and plotting were illogical BS. (A space worm the size of an aircraft carrier, a room on a space-limited spaceship with 400-foot TV walls just for effect, a romantic subplot between two redshirts, and the punchline of a literal Deus ex Machina that led to the stupid and confusing sequel hook cliffhanger.) Plus, degrading weapons and infinitely respawning enemies are a combination that should NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY EVER AGAIN.
Yeah it is kind of illogical that a fresh pistol explodes after just 13 rounds go through it. I guess in the fututre they took the whole lowest bidder thing to its logical conclusion.

OT: Bioshock, for reasons I've mentioned many times before. It seems the developers even agree that the gameplay was bad considering they designed the game so you litterally couldn't lose. And did anyone not see Atlas' betrayal coming the exact second he opened his mouth for the first time, or that he was secretly Fontaine the whole time when he essentially said, "don't listen to that crazy guy, fontaine is dead, trust me." And I totally trusted Atlas, because if you can't trust the guy who just screams I'm going to betray you like the massive cliche I am, who can you trust?

He's asking which critically acclaimed games I don't like. The fact it was my first post doesn't matter. These are those acclaimed games I don't like. There are still plenty of acclaimed games left that were not mentioned. Oh btw., I forgot to add the Assassin's Creed series.
Having one post makes it much more likely you are using a throwaway account, so dont blame me if i dont trust you.

And in any case, you didnt answer my question.
