I quite liked Dragon Age II. Wasn't like the original games, but it did its own unique thing with the story and structure, and I really liked that. Really isn't a whole lot of other games like it.
I also enjoyed COD IV. Yeah, it kick-started the modern MMS craze, but there is a reason the game is oft-imitated, even by other games in the series: it is because it is really freaking good.
Also, Bioshock Infinite, which has been getting a lot of backlash lately, it seems. I never really understood most of the criticisms, I love the game. Additionally, Alpha Protocol, Mass Effect 2, Metal Gear Solid 2, the Halo games, Dead Space II, Fable II, TES IV: Oblivion, Condemned 2, Bioshock II, Fallout 3, Risen, Civilization V, Super Paper Mario, Resident Evil 4, ToZ: Windwaker, Fez, Neverwinter Nights 2, Final Fantasy 8, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, Spyro: A Hero's Tail, and Ratchet: Deadlocked. Think that covers everything...
