Bayonetta:
Story structure, though meant to be ambiguous, could have been cleared up a BIT more.
That's it. That's all I got :/

Sonic 2:
...
Can't do it.

Sorry OP but Persona 4 is the only game i could ever call perfect, therefore i cannot criticise it...
Oh really let me try seeing as I am playing it (and loving it at the moment) first of all graphics not great even for ps2 second horribly linear thirdly it is very very slow you cannot speed run this game very easy, it is all about the story. Next is the crappy save system spend 3 hours levelling up get into a fight enemy advantage critical hit , critical hit you are dead move back 3 frikkin hours. Combat is really simple there are no combos it is just find weakness hit enemy with weakness keep going win. Stupid initial difficulty until you can replenish SP, random dungeons arent exactly exciting. Persona crossing is a pain in the arse it is just a test of patience until you get the skills you want which could literally take hours.
I can see where you're coming from sort of but i can still go down your list and go "no" "no" "uh no" etc

I'm sure that perfection is subjective anyway (within reason of course, noone's gonna propose that say, Too Human is perfect if they want any shread of decency left XD

I have a few up there but no favourites, so here goes.

Halo: Reach, musical score wasn't as great as previous Halo titles.

Just Cause 2, your vehicles blew up WAY too easily. Plus it took too long to buy whatever you wanted from the black market dealer.

The Orange Box, The graphics were very dated even for it's time, and TF2 never got updates on the Xbox version.

I hate the part in bioshock where you had to protect the little sister when you are disquised as a big daddy. Well at least they didn't make that the only way to get a good ending in the sequal and they didn't make it long and repetitive, and luckily the sequal didn't think putting you in a Big Daddy suit meant they could sacrivice the story. At least THAT didnt happen. (ok sarcasm over except that first sentance that's 100% true)

The story mode in Soulcalibur IV is terribly thin and way too short. It feels like a shorter version of arcade mode rather than anything that tells a story. Tying custom characters' stats and abilities to their appearance is a terrible idea. The created characters lack variety in body type (particularly in height).

Other than that, it's my favorite game.

Deus Ex: What a masterpiece of gaming, just the right amount of freedom and linearity balanced into an interesting and focussed experience. The story is pretty damn cool as well and unfolded at a steady pace throughout with some great set pieces. The music is great, the main theme is one of the coolest tunes ever made for a videogame.

The voice acting, well it's not good, JC sounds as sympathetic as a brick and forget the civilians and unimportant characters, they're just poor but in quite a funny way, you find yourself smirking at them alot (as opposed to a bad anime dub which drives people into a rage) I still consider Deus Ex to be my own pinnacle of gaming but I can not argue that the voice acting is somehow good (Walton Simons is the exception, the way he downplays his dialogue suits him completely)

Dwarf Fortress is ugly with a poor user interface with a difficulty curve identical to that of a brick wall.
Yup. I've been playing DF for months and still need to check the wiki every now and then. It's about as unintuitive as games get, and you're just about to give up when... did I just watch my dwarf get boiled alive by a steaming cloud of elephant blood?... fucking hell this game is immense.

Baldur's Gate is unfairly balanced against mages - you are pretty much useless at level 1, and can only get up to level 9 (if you're lucky) by the end of the game, which is about when you start to learn all the good spells.

On the other side of the coin, mages become (figurative and sometimes literal) gods by the end of Baldur's Gate 2, but it still makes for occasionally uneven gameplay. But then again, that's D&D.

The unskippable cutscenes in MGS1.

listen Listen LISTEN - Navi, I'm not listening because I'm the Hero of Fucking Hyrule and have played this game 20 times. Shut the fuck up.

Red Dead Redemption: You draw your gun on a group of bandits, auto-target locks onto random civilian, entire town attacks you.

More RDR: 'You have threatened the Stranger' - I jumped off my horse and it carried on going! Not my fault!

Half-Life: The Xen levels at the end are supposed to be the finale and yet are a massive let down compared to what came before.

Klonoa- Door to Phantomile: Too short, and with an ending that's much too sad considering how cute the characters are.

Vice City: RC missions

San Andreas: RC missions

SWAT4: 'You're standing in my spot, sir'

AoE2: Opponent destroyed...wait something survives? The great villager hunt begins! destroy every palisade!

AoE2 (again): And my mighty army of Elite Longbowmen sweeps towards the enemy encampment, nothing shall stand in our path, our arrows shall block out the sun! This shall be gloriou..s... 'Charles Martel resigns' 'You are Victorious'. What the fuck.

Mass Effect 1: too much free-roaming in the Mako. Mass Effect 2: occasionally too linear. Bioware can't win...

Hmm....What IS my favourite game.....Hell, I'll put a few of them up.

Tales of Symphonia
- I find it kind of weird how skills are divided into 2 categories, and how you need to do certain things to push your rating into that category to get those kinds of skills. ....Why? It's kind of stupid.

The World Ends with You
- It....kinda rapes the touchscreen. Also, those elephants and their ability to stunlock my top-screen character to death even when they were HOVERING....Yeah, that sucked.

Sonic 3 And Knuckles
- You should not have to sacrifice the Chaos emeralds to have a shot at the Hyper emeralds. You really shouldn't.

Deus Ex Human Revolution
- The ending chapter really didn't feel right at all. I wanted some really tough patrols and gunplay involved, not........Ugh...

The Dark Spire.

Still, other than the not-so-great interface, the game is really good.
Tried it...thought it had potential, but it was way too oldschool for me to handle.

I'm more a fan of the Etrian Odyssey series, actually. It's a very similar gameplay style, but it plays a lot better IMO. If you liked Dark Spire, you NEED to try the EO games.

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.

Tingle should be banned from existence. Oh, and treasure hunting for the Triforce was way too tedious and obvious panning.

Enslaved - The gameplay is kind of dull and the ending bits seemed rather rushed.

Borderlands - The ending. Seriously, what the hell kind of ripoff is this?

Assassins Creed: Brotherhood - I loved the new combat in this game, but the crossbow kind of broke the difficulty of escapes.

Fallout 3 (and New Vegas) - There comes a moment roughly 100 hours in when you realize that you just cannot stare at this brown/gray land anymore. Also, faces.

Mirror's Edge - Cutscenes and gunplay were both just sloppy and did not add anything to the game.

Bad Company 2 - Where is the humor?!

Battlefield 3 - Did we really need to put resources into that campaign? Also, how was it that the same team did the co-op missions, because those were actually fun.

Mass Effect 2 - I ran out of things to do long before I was ready to stop. Also, killed too many RPG elements in its streamlining.

Saints Row 2 - I...uh...well, I guess the framerate drops sometimes. And I guess the world isn't very interesting once you do all the side stuff.

Castle destroyed, Trebuche finishing up town center, time to chase down the king for the next two hours, because he can run faster then cavalry.

Armoured Core series.

Mission takes five to ten minutes each, and grenade spamming = insta-win in arena.

I'd have to pick between Majora's Mask, MGS2, Threads of Fate, or Resident Evil 4....

I'll just do all of them!

Majora's Mask:
Some nitpicky issues: having to save at an Owl or go back in time really gets annoying sometimes. Especially when you have to start a 3-day mission over just because you didn't realize you didn't get enough bombs or something. Sure you can speed up time but that ironically takes time in and of itself. But maybe that's the point of the game--an endless time-sync.

Also, that fucking Romani Ranch ghost mission is fucking annoying. Especially when one ghost slips by you so you have to go back in time again and do everything over to get back up to speed. Finally, this may just be because of N64 graphics but the Gerudo women look very creepy. I think they frightened me enough to stop playing the game when I was a child. Good thing I'm all grown up now! *shudder*

Metal Gear Solid 2:
Um... I guess I wish you could crouch-walk. But that's not relevant seeing as how they didn't introduce that till MGS4. Hmm... I guess I wish Raiden could use the sword for longer. It'd be amazing if you could unlock the sword as a bonus weapon for Raiden to use after you beat the game because you only get to use it for one measly boss fight and two fights before then. That's not even 10% of the game. I want to know what it feels like to be a ninja, damn it! ... But, I guess, that's what Rising is for.

Also, the cutscenes tend to drag on but they're not as bad as MGS4's. Finally, put the damn Arsenal Gear crashing through Manhattan back into the game! I'm from New York and I hate terrorists but I don't think it's in bad taste. It's artful and it damn sure makes more sense than them just falling from thin air!

Threads of Fate:
Why can't I play as Prima Doll? He has so much potential as a character and a fighter but all of his potential goes to waste if I can't play as him. Mint's sister is a magician, too, right? Why can't I play as her, either, and get the "evil" side of the story?

Also, the platforming is fucking, fucking, fucking, fucking, bad, bad, bad, bad, don't, don't, don't, don't, make me go through it. It wouldn't be so terrible if there weren't so many clipping issues in the game. I can stand next to a ledge and fall through it. ... Seriously?

Finally, it was funny when I was a kid but, again, now that I'm a grown man, there's no need to censor swears. Come on, Squaresoft, you didn't censor Final Fantasy IX and Zidane swore up a storm during that You're Not Alone sequence.

Resident Evil 4:
God, Resident Evil 4, why are you making this difficult? Okay, I guess if I have to get really nitpicky: the writing is absolute crap and it's really annoying when I shoot a person that's holding Ashley and she ends up dying. The villagers and cultists aren't very scary after a while but the game makes up for that with increasing difficulty so I guess that's okay. That fucking sliding tile puzzle that you have to do when you play as Ashley is annoying--not everyone is good at those, Capcom. Finally, Leon's acrobatic skills come off as a tad unrealistic at times.

Hmm... Re4 is a really good game... it's to think of non-nitpicky problems.

Bioshock: As much as it is revolutionary, it is also strangely not innovative. In terms of gameplay it is very much inspired by some more "classic" games.

Half-Life: Some puzzles/platforming are annoying. I'm thinking mostly about the Xen section.

Half-Life 2: Some of the AI is horrible.

And for that matter the Orange Box as a whole: while this is the best game compilation in terms of quality and even bang for your buck, they have absolutely nothing in common with each other! Which is not a big fault, obviously ;)

To me, the old-school feel of the game is what makes it so great. (It even has the wireframe mode, which was fun.)
I have all 3 EO games and I love them too, especially the third one. I can't really decide if I like The Dark Spire or Etrian Odyssey more. It's a shame those games aren't that well known. They really need more love.

Dear Skyrim,
If you were any other game, everyone would be mad at you for all your glitches and bugs.

It is kind of funny how Bethseda is the only publisher/developer that's allowed to make buggy games and have it count as a point in its favor.
