Cross platform games?

Other than Shadowrun what are some cross platform games?

A Second Question: What Exactly is holding the gaming community back from making more games cross platform. Being a PC gamer I would like to be able play with my friends who own consoles but am not willing to purchase a console.

I don't know the technological drawbacks to them doing this but It seems as though it wouldn't be that hard to make cross platform game. Sometimes I am just confused as shit

Eh.. But some systems have a clear advantage over other systems. Take RTS's for example; anyone who says that an RTS is better suited for a console hasn't played any on PC.
