but also a little sensitive, look I've no idea who you really are. so theres every chance that you aren't "silly". Don't let it get to you. I dont actually mean it. It's just an expression. You're not silly. At all.
No, not silly, sarcastic.

Go back and read the older posts in a sarcastic tone
Theres really no need to get annoyed or aggravated.

You want me to get angry, don't you?
Because I'm really not, but you think I am.

"Wishful thinking", ey?
I don't want you to be angry. I didn't even speculate that you were.

It's just a crossbow dude.

It's because most nerds just want something that looks cool, rather then something that would be realistic-ly effective. Which a crossbow is obviously not.

It seems that no one's taken the time to mention the repeating crossbow and the polybolos for the sake of being technical about the crossbow family. :I

Well, alright, I suppose the polybolos is just far too large for any sane, normally-built man to manhandle solo, but this is just a reply for the statement that crossbows are slower than bows:

My friend actually has a real working crossbow and if you where to see it in action you would not have made this thread.

Bows need to be pulled back and let go, this needs a HUGE amount of strenght in your arms. you need to be very stong to get the results of a crossbow with a normal bow.
Crossbows use a different set up, you use less strength to pull back a trigger on a crossbow.
bolts are also alot stronger that arrows.
