Crowning Moments

What are all of your favorite crowning moments of awesome/heartwarming/ whatever else. Basically, what moment in a game, movie, book, or show made you sit up and say "hot damn"? Funniest one-liners, best retorts, most awesome scenes, whatever.

For me, I absolutely loved this exchange from the latest Dresden Files Book:

I concur.

Every time Zaratul speaks, it's an entire crowning moment in itself.
(Except, of course, when he's stupid enough to trust Kerrigan...)

CMoAwesome: So many running around my head, I had to use TVTropes to sort them out, and my favourite ended up being in Red Eye: Rachel McAdams has had enough of this shit. Time to put a pen through a windpipe.

CMoHeartbreaking: Russel T. Davies is one cruel ************ - it shows through how he wrote Donna Noble out of Doctor Who.

Anyway, I think I'll take a combined Crowning Moment and Music of Awesome and say the last fight scene in the Heaven's Feel route of Fate/Stay Night. Especially the music.


During the first part of the fight, only the first half of that music plays (looping from 0:00 to 0:52). Then...

I don't know how much I made ______ cry. ______ was crying where I couldn't see her. She only smiled in front of me, and always cried by herself.

So I have to protect her. The crimes ______ committed, the crimes ______ remembers, the crimes that condemn ______. I have to protect her from everything. The girl that could only smile in front of me. Her body was dying, but she still said she'd protect me--

So she can eventually smile in front of other people...

You're getting the way of that. Get lost. Sakura can't smile if you exist--!
