Crysis 2 Demo Hits PC in March

If it can run on the 360 I know I can run it (though I did have a nightmare in which my processor was dual-core instead of my quad-core). Also like other people yeah I wish it was singleplayer. Won't have time for the demo though since Dawn of War Retribution comes out March 1st and I have that pre-ordered.

Like the author, I'm not much of a multiplayer guy these days, but this news really makes me smile. I'll definitely download this and let the young kids out there kick my ass for a few hours.

This is great news! I'm interested in seeing how smoothly Crysis 2 will run, and what the devs have actually done with multiplayer.

I'll probably wait for a Steam sale on at least 50% off or something. The game interest me a little, but at the same time, I know it will piss me off if they abandon the story of the first. A single player demo would get me more interested in buying it, but right now, I can wait a bit for it...

Still if i ever decide to buy it ill have to get it on PS3, poor old laptop needs replacing.

I was hoping against hope that Crytek [http://www.crytek.com/] would come across with a single-player demo for the PC since I have absolutely zero interest in Crysis multiplayer, but I suppose this is how things are done these days. It's not terribly helpful for showing off gameplay but at least it's an opportunity for PC gamers to find out just how badly the game is going to thump their rigs. When it comes to Crytek games, that's pretty good information to have.

That's a shame. As I mentioned on the Petition thread I'd also like to have a go at the SP side of things. I'm not going to play MP in this game. Guess I have to put it on my 'Buy when it hits the sweet spot between price and my interest' list.

And I'm not going to run it as bench mark, as I prefer not to be tea bagged and called noob by my bench mark tools.
