Crysis 2 Freezing

So I got Crysis 2 for the 360, and I've gotten the the 13th Level, Terminus. However every time the Pinger comes in the window, the game freezes and I have to turn my 360 off.

Has this been happening to anyone else, on any other consoles, or is just the 360? And if it has happened, were you able to fix it or is it still there for you?

ive just brought the game myself but mine freezes just after i jump down on top of the donut shop roof, but in my case it causes a E71 code error on my xbox 360, so a solution to this would be very helpful

I've been getting some severe frame-rate drops but no freezing. Scared now!

I've been having some trouble with other stuff [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.273023-The-weird-ways-Crysis-2-acts], but I haven't had any problems with it freezing in-game.
