Crysis 2

I was really looking forward to this game and it's really good(for about %50 of the time).

The lag is sooo bad and the hit detection is soo off i'm gonna trade it and get something else but i want a good shooter. I'm jaded with COD and played out BF:BC2 so i'm just looking for something else good online!

Anybody any suggestions or should i just wait for a patch for crysis?

Give Homefront a try. It's different.
Kinda like BFBC2 cross COD. With more vehicles.

Halo: Reach and TF2 are the only two multiplayer games I enjoy. I suggest you look into those.

Yeah i used to play TF2 up til my bro decided to do a hostile take over on the pc now all i have is my xbox and the orange box is such a mythical unicorn that i can't find it anywhere.

I'll see if e-bay or somewhere has it, It would be fun to play portal again.

Really i havent played it in about 3-4 days was the patch only out??

and i say lag but i wasn't entirely honest it's more i cloak nail a guy in the back, now i dont wanna sound like a spa but i'm not bad when it comes to an FPS i can get about 30 rounds of SCAR into him but the dude turns around and just instakills me.

Now i know what your thinking my energy was gone or he headshot me but this is not the case, They literally just looks at me and kill me

It's the same symptoms as lag but it's not anybody else getting this or is it just me?

I get that sometimes, they're most likely using the armour mode, which needs lots of bullets to break through ( and more to actually kill the person), and by the time you've started shooting, they kill you. Not a good thing, but after a few rank ups you can get better damaging weapons and use armour mode yourself when attacking.

I'm not saying i can't kill anybody or i'm moaning about i sat in a corner and waited for a dude to walk by. Now i cannot and i refuse to believe i am the only person this has happened to.

You shoot the guy first he doesnt have armour mode on, Empty a mag into him get the x every shot and yet he just turns and one shots ya! I am not a retard i have played FPS's before i know what to do and how to aim a gun and get a head shot, I am sayin is the game just doesnt work right sometimes.

You can scream noob or other insults but the simple fact is the game isn't working right and i cannot be the only person getting this problem, It's nearly enought to look favourably at black ops or MW2 that how bad it gets and they are both terrible too.

I know. It happens because people have more upgraded perks than you. I'm in the exact same situation as you, except I'm the guy who does the killing.

Just keep playing, learn the maps, upgrade your perks, you'll be fine.

Dude there is no need at all to be patronising here, my problem isn't perks i have rank 3 perks im level 37 so i'm quite happy with my load out. The problem has been even noticed on the EA forums i have been doing a bit of looking up on this.

The problem is there are no dedicated servers the games problem is that it picks the host at random, Have you ever noticed why 1 guy has 4 green bars and everyone else is on 1 red bar.

So again the problem isn't inexperience i'd more then likey take you on a straight up 1v1 but that proves nothin of what im saying.

The game has a lot of network bugs which the dev admits and from what i have read are tryna fix it but until its fixed alot of ppl are gonna lag rage or get instakilled seriously actually google what i'm saying its a known thing with crysis 2.

Ah i know that i was just venting their, I have been in work all day so i have aloooot of free time so i checked the EA and crysis forums and came up with that

I didn't mean to sound like a dick sorry bout the last post, I just get annoyed when ppl use the whole ohh he's complaining he must be terrible at the game line.

Mainly cos i'm very vain and i consider myself competent when it comes to online games haha

The game doesn't lag it's your computer or console. Crysis is such as a detailed shooter some consoles or computers can't run it. Don't believe me? they give you an achievemnet for being able to finish the first mission called "can it run crysis?"

Dude that achievement was taking the piss..........and you can't lag on single player...


EDIT- Well you can't on the xbox which is what i'm using. Also you basically said EA lied by saying i lied 'cos i got the info from EA's forums

^This, give homefront multiplayer a try as it takes the best from BC2 and COD, and combines them.

Have you tried singleplayer? I don't know about the multi, but the single is quite good.

If you want something different, go for Portal 2 on co-op. If you want more shooting action, either wait for Gears 3 or Brink, or get Halo Reach if you haven't already and have an Xbox because the multiplayer is absolutely fantastic.
