Hopefully, this thread doesn't condemn us to eternal damnation. Anyways, H.P. Lovecraft described Cthulhu in such a way that people really only get an idea of what he looks like. Because of this, there are so many awesome pics of Cthulhu that portray him (her?) in many ways. Sometimes, he's fat, sometimes he can shoot lightning out of his eyes, etc.

I was just wondering if you could post your favorite pic of Cthulhu, and using the evidence we gather, we can praise the similarities and shun the inconsistencies. Then, we all have a better idea about the apocalypse. Please, do it for the children. For the children...

I don't have any pictures but it is pretty consistent with the majority of the (non cute) pictures.

Illithid face (I know they are inspired by Cthulhu!).
Bulbous head.
Bat wings.
Immence size.

I've not seen a picture that depicts him as large enough for my mind.

You know the new move they made of Godzilla, the one with Hank Azaria (from the Simpsons),

In my mind, that version of Godzilla reaches like 1/8 way up Cthulhu's shin. If it straightens it's back.

You know those really, really tiny ants that're so small you can't even see their legs unless you hold them up to you eye. That's the size I imagine us compared to him.

Like, smaller than a flea.

It's a pity I don't have a scanner, because I just finished a series of little Lovecraft doodles that'd have fit this thread perfectly.

I guess I normally either think of the classic-flavor one, or the version from The Unspeakable Vault.
