Hullo Internets! I am now the proud owner of my brand new custom built desktop!!! *grin* Yeah, I've been hording parts for quite sometime and today my tower case and liquid nitrogen cooling system came via UPS. After a long day of installing things, I have my own computer!! Now...get my own monitor...*sighs*

And for discussion, what are you proud of recently?

I'm proud of scoring the highest grade on my English final. I was the only one with an A in the entire class and the teacher claimed that I "was the only one to do really good."

Its a little shallow sure, but my grade in that class was in the shitter before that final and I needed a real good grade on it to save myself. So I went in there and I got it and I'm glad I managed to do it.

Personally, I was just all giggly about recognizing a Kanji character this morning.
Nothing too special, but I've been slamming my head into my desk trying to learn the sadistic torture the Japanese have disguised as a writing system, so it was a nice change of pace.

I have all the parts planned out for my Chevelle, and once I have the money, I'll have a total screaming rod of a sleek sexy machine. It's my first complete engine overhaul & rebuild, and I'm flying solo, so I'm also learning tons of new exciting things all along the while.

haha thanks. And building your own computer is an awesome thing, isn't it? I used to build other people's machines all the time, and can't wait until I decide to put one together for myself... but the car comes first for now.
