After reading another forum on racism it made me think of my own personal views on the subject. I don't think anybody can really hate another human being for looking diffrent, but more to do with people who dress, speak and act different. It makes everyone uncomfortable being around ethnic and cultually diffrent people whether it be friends or lovers family... Perhaps just a social gathering or party at a club when you are not use to that kind of scene

Personally I am deeply into my own ancestors history. Nordic religion and history is my own history and rightly what I identify with. It even inspired me into getting in good shape and making a military and police career, however I love and appreciate most ethnic cultures of many nationalities. I love Southern American ethnic clothing, its bright and beutifully colored not like that of many African dress. Native and folk music of all nations tend to be beautiful even language barriers are no obstacle for enjoying it.

I ama Metal and classic rock mostly kind of guy. Classical music, and traditional various ethnic folk music also fascinate me and habit my itunes.. (80's pop, shhh). That said one of my best friends in life was an African American who shared my love of video games and awesome movies, such as The Warriors. Also various anime like Cowboy Bebop, Afro-Samurai, Boondocks, DBZ Ruroni Kenshin etcetcetc.. Through him I greatly learned to appreciate classic Hip Hop and rap like Run Dmc, Master P that existed in the 80's and late 70's.

Having said all this I also must admit I can't stand ghetto culture at all. How people act arrogant without any kind of honor because its cool. How Mtv is the only music that exist. How it sometimes encourages kids to not explore their own heritage or better themselves through education. This is not all across the board by any means of course but walkthrough any "bad" neighborhood (don't do it, I use to live there lol) and ask any males especially how they are going to earn money. Number one response is rap career, or criminal activity

Is there a word for someone who doesnt like a culture but isnt a racist? culturist? Or do we just lump that in with discrimination?

I wouldnt call the ghetto(I assume the American one) a culture personally, more of an American subculture.
