You're slap-bang in the middle of what should be the best days of your life.
I have to disagree with this. Being 14 is NOT the best days of your life. And if they are then you need to seriously reassess your life. Let's be honest... being 14 sucks. The best days of your life should be in your 20's-30's. Or perhaps 60+... depending on your retirement plan.
But, it's important to remember that time passes quickly, and before you know it, things will get better.
I suppose it's a retrospective thing, but I have to say being 21 completely sucks. And despite all the awkwardness at the time, I still wish I was fourteen again.
Honestly, it's the best time in your life to actually have fun and just be happy. Too many people take it way too seriously, and end up rushing into their twenties like me, getting light-headed from sitting up too fast and having no enthusiasm for anything.
