Current Gen Bargain Bin Games

I know there are a few out there, such as Hour of Victory.

One that I've played a lot of is Medal of Honor: Airborne. Everything about the game is outdated, and the engine has barely been modified. There is literally no environment interaction outside a few barrels, which is particularly sad.

What other relatively new games have you played that belong in the $5 Discount Bin?

Far Cry Predator Instincts for the Xbox 360. It's a good game, but it feels very outdated. It doesn't feel open at all.

Found the first Condemned for $11 pre-owned. 'Nuff said.

Megaman 9. It's a great great game, don't get me wrong. However, there is no way I would pay $40 or $50 for it if I saw it on a store shelf in disc form. Maybe I would if it came with every other Megaman game ever made in the same box, but not by itself. That's probably why it was released on Xbox Live. It's deliciously old school, but not worth $50.

Painkiller Universe (current gen?)

The greatest stress relief game(s) of all time.
The sheer madness, speed and ridiculousness just make it a treat to play
I picked it up for 40 Malaysian Ringgit ($13) and its just a load of fun

I think he means Uncharted. I got that in JB Hifi for around $40. Course they always have games cheap, I got Call Of Duty 4 and No More Heroes there for the same price.

Man thats a sweet game. They need to make a sequal

It looks like the 'commando strike force' game (the FPS version of the Commando 4 man squad RTS games)

No one else did, but i really liked that game

Picked up Chromehounds when I first got my 360. Massive regrets, it was awful.

actually, gears seems to be over $30 where I live. Used. And that's NOT a bargain 2 years after the game came out. A good bargain bin game is Prey. I got it for $5 and it was worth every penny.

Gears of War definately.

Not that it's a bad game, but like Halo 1/2 it's become somewhat ubiquitous, so all the shops in my home town are selling it for £20 or less new. I think the incoming GoW2 may have affected the price as well.

Also Perfect Dark Zero. Plays worse than it's two generations older predecessor.

Because I truly enjoyed PGR4 for $25...and I got Daxter for my PSP for $9.

I wholeheartedly disagree.

Anyone noticed how remarkably DMC4 decreased in price? It went from £40 to £20 in the space of a month. Deserved.

No. It was half finished. RvB did a Forced Enjoyment of it.

How about Deadliest Catch? They butchered it. I mean, who wants to go crab fishing, even with Mike Roe?

yeah i was about to update that; gears of war - and sorry, i don't give a crap about the game but i'm pretty sure it was first person not 3rd. w/e

For the record gears is over the shoulder 3rd person.
