Okay, so my homework assignment requires me to illustrate (Draw) a current event going on in the world. It can be anything as long as its relevant, for the most part, and kinda known. So for example, trying to illustrate how Mass Effect 3's ending was disappointing doesn't work for this assignment, obviously.

My problem is that I can't think of any relevant events. I don't like watching the news! The only thing I can think of right now is the Koby thing, and someone's already doing that. It doesn't say anywhere I'm not allowed to do the same thing, the Koby thing. But I'll leave that as a last resort. And at any rate, I don't know how to illustrate that.

So any ideas? Any people out there willing to help me with my homework?

Maybe draw like a battlefield or something, with a war of words going on between two political parties?

If you're from the US (and I can't tell, sorry), it would definitely be something to work with.

If not.... Maybe a whirlpool, for the European debt crisis?

An easy one would be to cover high gas prices. It's a boring kind of news, since the price of gas goes up every summer, but the newspapers and TV news talks about it every year. Just search high gas prices and you'll get lots of current articles:

I'd draw the earth, communications flying back and forth, and big business/government intercepting and controlling it all.

I live in the US. But hey, whatever's going on in the world right now helps!

Sorry if I seem really out-of-touch with the news. I barely have time to sit down and watch TV while having a meal. I do like those ideas, though! I don't want it to look a lot like a political cartoon you'd find in the newspaper, so this is good.

Ok, anyone else? I think I'm allowed to draw a couple more.
