Pokedex
I ask this because i just got Lugia without a master ball and im happy, im sitting at 176 pokemon right now. and this is a question to everyone playing HG and SS without the action replay.
I bolded the bits where I have no idea what you are talking about. What the hell is a Pokedex? Is this a pick up line of some sort?
im sure your joking, or at least, i really hope you are.
Not really, all I know about the game series is that you make little animals fight and that Micheal Vick probably played far too much of it as a child. Thats about it, I don't honestly know what the things in bold are other then words.
not a RPG fan im taking it?
No, I actually like RPGs, I have just never played a Pokemon game.
you should try it then, despite the kid tone of the game, its a really solid RPG, 40 bucks is worth it, trust me.
Just get used to "Poke" being a prefix. put before
everything. PokeMart, Pokedex, Pokeball, pokecenter, pokegear... Assume that anything with, "poke" in the games is an object or place directly related to the objects required for basic pokemon training. Any number higher than 100 is likely a quantity of pokemon types attained, any acronyms refer to the specific pokemon games, and any other weird noun is a type of pokemon.
Follow these simple guidelines, and you'll be chatting in pokelingo in no time!
Really, though, Pokemon is an easy-to-learn JRPG with a *huge* amount of available party members that are all animals, meaning that the designers can get away with hardly any story whatsoever. Most people these days, whether they admit it or not, make up stories as they go along in their pokemon adventures, stemming from having grown up with the series. As a newcomer, I'd be interested in seeing what you make of the plot and character development. (Or blatant lacktheirof.)
It would make a
great blind Let's Play, to say the least.
