I've been thinking about rewiring my computer's power button into something a bit grander, as a fun and interesting project. My ultimate goal would be to make starting up my computer feel like sitting down in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, but I'll settle for less.
What I'm looking for (and been unable to find) are examples of buttons and switches that I could buy or build that make activating them feel like a big deal. Can anybody help me out with some examples or ideas to work off of?
