So I got to thinking the other day, and it occurred to me;

If DnD Land is an actual persistent reality, eventually they'll make it off-planet...

So that got me to thinking, wouldn't it be cool to use all the standard DnD races, religions, gods/goddesses, lore, etc. except set the campaign some thousands of years in the future? So like Dwarves could use gravity boots and sonic hammers and Elves could use jet-packs and lasers and stuff.

I mean am I the only one who thinks that could be awesome? Or are there other peeps out there who think that'd make a hell'a fun RP?

There's also Dungeons the Dragoning.

What's that, you ask?

It's the bastard child of DnD, Shadowrunner, and Spelljammmer, all wrapped up in a Warhammer 40k universe.

And it's AWESOME.
