Isabelle had said something about him and his job, but Richard tried not to listen in. It didn't sound like she had said something bad, in any case. Isabelle then agreed to go to dinner with Garath, and he had given her a few details and left to return whatever it was that he had been holding. Richard didn't really care that much, it was none of his business, unless Isabelle couldn't be trusted. As Garath left, Isabelle spoke to Richard again, but it wasn't about the badge.
"A rather nice tooth you've got there Richard, don't think I've seen one like that before."
"Huh?" He looked up, surprised, and put it back in his pocket instantly, as to hide it from her. She had already seen it though, so he couldn't pretend it didn't exist. "I'd be surprised if you had." Richard then tilted his head. He had gotten some time to collect himself, so he felt a bit more sure. Still, for him to show her that tooth... it was bad. However, if he just stopped talking about it, that would be even more suspicious. "As for it being nice, I wouldn't say so."
