Azkar wasn't expecting the combo and succumbed to it. But then she felt a blade pierce her armor and essence.

It was Demonic in origin.

Azkar took the momentum and increased it by leaping directly into Isaac after he spun her around, crushing his throat with her gauntlet. "Cease to exist." She hissed venomously as her sword glowed. Azkar began the unnatural process of ripping Isaac's soul out of his body as she ripped her greatsword downwards to keep Eligor pinned into the earth.

"You dare insult me? Undead are an abomination, your sword is a Demonic artifact. I have annihilated every trace of beings you couldn't even begin to comprehend you repugnant filth." Azkar's visor seemed to be burning rather than emitting light. Her wings spread upwards and beat downwards, bringing more force into Isaac and keeping others from interfering.

Azkar was inching Isaac into the dirt as she gripped tighter "End." She uttered in a low growl.

(PKs interrupted. Azkar is now really close to killing an NPC though.)

"You...dumb...*****.

Isaac attempted to inch his hand over a bit to reach behind his aggressor. He managed to force the ecto whip to project out and up above the both of them. He wrapped it around Azkar's wing and pulled back as hard as he could. After struggling with the tendons of the wing, while combatting losing his soul, he was able to completely rip it off.

While Azkar was yelling in pain, Isaac got off the ground and regained his grip on Eligor. With a strike, he put a slash on Azkar's arm and kicked the blade away and then made a small stab into her chest.

"Stop attacking me for one fucking second you thing"

Zorrama looked on the insuing battle, looking displeased.

"This looks like trouble. You should come with me Richard. You'll be safe down below"

Zorrama walked away at a quick pace, hoping the two men could get away before the man in the togo got into the building.

William stopped Kain at the door.

"What the hell is going on over there?"

Or not

"This looks like trouble. You should come with me Richard. You'll be safe down below"

Zorrama said, but Richard had no intentions of following him. He just stood there. "I have to do something first," Richard said, knowing that Zorrama would stop, if only for a short second. Richard was taking his chances, hoping that the familiar people outside were his allies, and that he wasn't alone with a man that could call lesser demons to his aid. Richard pulled out the gun, and readied it, pointing it at Zorrama. His ability with a gun was nothing special, but he was close enough to be able to hit decently either way. "I don't think I'm going to help you, all things considered. It's not interesting enough." This was the right choice right? The emptiness inside him wasn't that strong at the moment. It had to be the right choice.

"What the hell is going on over there?"
"Richards in there. Move or I will break you." Kain said as one would state an obvious fact, like the sky is blue. He pushed him aside and ran in, following his nose rather than his eyes. He noticed the distinct smell of death, but he still picked up on Richard.

"None of you will leave here alive."

Goddamn fanatics.

Walking out of the portal to see a massive pointy metal object flying in his direction was not the first thing Aaron anticipated. Naturally, he did the first thing that would come into anybody's mind, and that was to jump backwards as high as he fucking could. In a stroke of luck, Aaron landed on a tree branch, nearly falling off the other side in surprise. Taking a breather to grasp the scene, Aaron saw Isaac pressing against the supposed-celestial, and while Aaron felt little love for Isaac, he could be useful in the scheme of things. Deciding to assist in the fight, Aaron dove outwards from his perch, positioning himself directly behind the attacker. When Isaac finished his swing of Eligor, Aaron slapped both of his hands around the head of the humanoid, and forced it flat to the ground.

"Stop attacking me for one fucking second you thing."

"I never thought I'd agree with Mr. Private Eye here so much."

Aaron shoved his foot downwards onto the angel's face, pinning his opponent. Being thorough, he decided to draw his guns and empty a magazine into each of his foe's arms, praying to any god in Heaven that the engravings that made his weapons so effective against demons had a similar effect against their opposite kin. When he was finished, Aaron reloaded his pistols and began the diplomacy.

"Now, you seem a bit like an angel, but you're not reminiscent of any divine on the side of Jesus Christ that I've ever seen, so how's about we get to know each other a bit more? I'm Aaron Pertition."

Aaron made a point not to move his foot.

Zorrama stood there perplex for a moment. Then his smile returned to his face and he looked past the gun straight into Richard's eyes

"Richard. I'm actually proud of you"

Azkar was being assailed by two forces now. One was the zombie mage who's power simply didn't make sense, he must have been sapping power from the artifact blade he had, the other was a man using pistols with ammunition with inscriptions to increase damage to the damned and evil.
By the end of the scuffle Azkar was on her back with a man standing on top of her, he fired a barrage of projectiles into both of her plate armored arms and then stood on the face plate of her helmet to add to the insult.

Azkar ignored what he said as she flicked her right hand upwards, summoning her Angelic weapon back into her hand and smashing the broad side of it into Aaron, sending him flying. If he had been against a wall it would have cracked his head like an egg.
Azkar took the opportunity that arose with the change in positions to switch to a double hand stance and roll back onto her feet, horizontally cleaving her blade into Isaac. Cleanly removing his upper chest from his abdomen, she then ripped Eligor from his hand as he was falling and lobed it away from Isaac and the others.

"Your provocation and insults were noted, worm." Azkar then brought the tip of her sword and stabbed it into Isaac, destroying his soul. Azkar was furious as her eyes gazed across the remainder of the party. These were obviously human, she didn't look too hard as she was full of righteous rage. None of them stood out, she also figured that there was bigger things to worry about inside considering the dog man seemed to have ran in there pretty quickly.

Azkar ripped the sword out of Isaac's chest, splitting his ribs and began walking toward the building determinedly.

"Richard. I'm actually proud of you"

Richard felt like he needed to take a look Why was Zorrama saying this? It was a good question, but a question Richard didn't need to ponder upon or be surprised by. He didn't lower the gun, nor did he react in any other way than smile, the kind of smile that didn't touch his eyes, his usual smile. "Keep talking, if you don't mind. I'd like to know why. Please take into account that I've never had a trouble with taking someone's life, I just don't usually do it, since I'm a scientist and all." Well, he sure had killed enough demons, and a human wasn't actually much different. Though, he doubted this one was a human.

"Your provocation and insults were noted, worm." *shunk*

Aaron staggered to his feet several meters away, eyebrow cocked as he watched Isaac poof his way off this mortal coil , as he put his bowler hat back on.

"Now, I know you're not exactly in a chatting mood," He began to follow as the imposing figure marched by, "but I'm sure you could at least tell me your name."

Aaron checked inside his jacket for something he could use, and to his enthusiasm, he found a hand grenade and a foot of duct tape.

Isaac watched Aaron as he picked Eligor back up.

"What are you planning to do with that?"

Isaac looked over to his body double laying on the ground.

"Yeah. Got to hand it to Garath. He's really good at Illusions"

The body of the second Isaac faded into nothingness as Isaac watched.

"Faith in humanity? I think you're thinking to well of me, honestly, I don't know what I'm doing, or why, this isn't what I'm used to. I usually just ignore these kinds of things." He sighted. "But now... I think I hit my head, and feeling empty is boring, so this is it," Richard was about to pull the trigger, but heard people approaching, and stopped himself, perhaps it was his alleys, perhaps it was Zorrama's. "Who's there?" he asked, but kept his eyes and gun on Zorrama.

"Who's there?"
Kain burst through the door, stopped and smiled.
"Just your friendly neighborhood wolfman. Did it take you this long to pull a gun on a man who shot you with a cannon?" Kain scratched his now unruly beard.
"I'd suggest pulling the trigger. Guy has evil written all over him."

"Yeah. Got to hand it to Garath. He's really good at Illusions"

Ignoring that random distraction, Aaron continued to walk behind the imposing angel, and he also continued to be ignored by it. Beginning to be ignored by this, Aaron signaled Isaac to toss him Souldrinker. Isaac obliged, and Aaron attached the tape to the grenade and moved into a position to strike. At the opportune moment, Aaron slid the demon blade into the sternum of the celestial, whispering into its ear "I don't like to be ignored". Aaron stuck the tape, and with it, the grenade, to the side of the impaled neck, right next to the head. Remembering to thank Eligor, he tossed the arcane blade back to Isaac, adjusting his bowler hat as the grenade detonated.

"Neighborhood wolfman? You're from DICE, right? So, you're saying he shot me with a cannon? You were there? How come I'v---" a werewolf came to his mind, and while he couldn't remember a name, he knew he wasn't a bad guy. And, even though he couldn't remember it, it all made sense. The reason why Zorrama had given him this opportunity, and why he his head had been wrecked. "Fine, but I don't think it will kill him," Richard said, and fired the gun, hitting Zorrama in the shoulder, and then firing another one, hitting him in the chest. "This has been interesting, yet not interesting," he muttered, and walked over to Zorrama, gun still pointed at him. Was he dead, or was he alive.

"This has been interesting, yet not interesting,"

Zorrama laughed a few times as he lay on the ground bleeding.

"I don't blame you Richard. You think you're doing the right thing. I can respect that"

He gave a wide, sinister grin.

"You know who else think's they're doing the right thing?"

A large, black glove covered fist connected with Richard's face. The blow came from a tall, physically imposing man wearing a gas mask. He noticed Kain behind him, and looked him up and down.

"Imagine seeing you again"

The angel, or what was left of it, laid on the ground with it's chest blown open. Isaac doubted it would get back up after that one.

"I'm love your sense of ingenuity Aaron. Thanks for finally putting an end to that annoyance"

Isaac walked back over to the rest of the group and sat down to catch a breath.

"Well, that's one down. I don't remember any mention of angels in this control the world plot"

Sorry about all the stuff going down in your absence. I know your character's would likely have stepped in or had something to add, but I wasn't expecting Azkar to take things the way she did.

"Imagine seeing you again"
"You know, the gas mask makes you look silly. Also, I'm tired and wish to make this as quick as possible, so lets all pinky promise that buck-shot chest here won't get up and interrupt what I'm about to do." Kain gave a wolfish grin.
"So then, with that settled, I believe the kids say 'Come at me bro.'" he dropped to his usual fighting stance, legs parted, one fist near his chest the other pointed at his enemy.
"You first."

"Well, that's one down. I don't remember any mention of angels in this control the world plot"

"Well, that's DICE for you. They only inform the hit man, and when they're satisfied the job's done, only quite a while later do details begin to surface." Aaron grinned and patted Isaac on the shoulder, suddenly cheerful and amicable.

"I'm just glad I could finish this job for DICE. They've been watching this angel for a while, and they'll be happy to know it's no longer a thorn in their side."

Desperately hoping against hope that the fallen angel was alive, Aaron played a dangerous gambit.

Danny sluggishly stepped through the portal and into Level 5. Despite it being his first time using a portal, Danny wasn't hesitant going through. In Danny's current state it was just another door, albeit a very special door. He was just glad to be finally be somewhere safe and familiar. He wasn't reluctant, if he ever was, to be a part of D.I.C.E. because it was a place he could go and call home. It was awfully cheesy but Danny felt no shame in making such a remark considering what he went through.

Can I give you the tour after I wash myself, have a nap and push the pen-papers?
"Sure Danny-lad, just going into D.I.C.E. is a sensual experience in itself."

Danny shrugged off the strange comment and made his way towards the showers. He didn't even bother undressing; he just entered and immersed himself in the warm water. After half an hour of staring at the tiled wall in front of him, Danny left the shower and went to the barracks. He found his locker and opened it to find two new set of clothes. One that matched his current attire, same brands and all, and another that resembled military-wear; khaki trousers and a singlet. They were even the same brand. Danny smiled and closed the locker. He went back to the showers and this time he properly washed himself, trying for at least five minutes to get rid of the horrid smell. After trying every soap available, Danny gave up and left the showers in a rather snug bathrobe.

"Hey Danny, I just want you to keep in mind this is torture for me. I can't control you, and I can't explore your psyche. I've got nothing to do! Can't you at least talk to me?"
Well re-enacting a scene from the Blob was torture for me too, but I never complained.
"You cried."
I'm human, and unlike you I haven't lived for centuries. Deal with it mate.

That seemed to keep him quiet while Danny changed into his new 'casual' clothes and dropped off his old set in the laundry bowl.

I'm going to sleep now. Just be patient okay?
"Okay, fine."

With that said, Danny fell on his bed and drifted off to sleep. The new clothes were surprisingly comfortable, he noted.
