Can someone tell me if you can use any of the new spells or specializations (ie: battlemage) in the Origins campaign?
Are the Blood mage Specs in Awakening better?high_castle said:In an unmodded game, no. The only thing that carries retroactively over to Origins are the blood mage and reaver specs, should you choose to unlock them in Awakening rather than in the main game. But the new specs are strictly for the expansion pack.
Blood mage works exactly the same in Awakening as it did in Origins. The dev team only included manuals for blood mage and reaver because they knew they were frequently still locked in many players' games (especially since you need to play a specific class to unlock blood mage).Ninjamedic said:Are the Blood mage Specs in Awakening better?high_castle said:In an unmodded game, no. The DLC items don't (starfang, maric's stuff etc) unless you use http://www.fileplanet.com/210712/210000/fileinfo/Dragon-Age:-Origins---Awakening-DLC-Item-Import-Mod then they're here just fineYosharian said:No, you can't use the new stuff in the Origins campaign. You can use everything in Awakenings though..
Although some items don't carry over, for some reason.
