So... where do you stand on the whole "Casual gaming" section of the industry?

Myself, I just didn't get casual games for quite a while. They didn't seem to have the same appeal as say, Counter-Strike, buuuut recently I've started playing stuff like Boxes and Audiosurf and random Zune games and it's starting to appeal to me alot more, perhaps just because you can just fire it up and play a good old familiar simple-but-awesome randomo game.

The only "casual" games I play are Urban Rivals and AdventureQuest. They are a great way to kill time. I'll often be playing Urban Rivals while posting on here. I don't see a problem with them. More people are being introduced into gaming and are, more importantly, having fun.

Angry Birds and Planets Verse Zombies are both labeled as 'casual'.

Because of this I have no problem saying I play causal games.

Bejeweled is pretty fun when you're on break at work. Plants vs. Zombies, too.

Been playing casual games for years. Actually longer, as quite a few of the games that I played early on would be considered casual games these days.

Never saw a problem with them. It's great to be able to fire up a game when you got 20 minutes to kill.

I like games that are easy to pick up and play. The more complex experiences you get from games that aren't considered casual are nice, too, of course, but spending my break playing a few mindless rounds of Peggle is one of those little pleasures that gets me through the week.
