Yeah, okay. The coolest thing about this story is how well the board took it. Actually admitting they did something wrong instead of getting their collective panties twisted about the call? Neat.

id expect a appology call from the school for him at 4 am.
Then, he'll call them back at 4 am, to thank them for their consideration, although it seems they didn't get the message quite right, and is now concerned about leaving his children to learn with people that are so stupid.

I wonder what service he used...

also, did he get the school officials home numbers? how?

I applaud his effort though, that is great... it's one of those situations where I started reading and though that by the end I would be raging at some sort of silly lawsuit. Kudos to the clever parent :D

The only thing I hate worse than bot calls are calls from skinjobs (telephone marketers).

They call you up, wait ten seconds to ensure they have someone on the line and then try to sell you stuff.

And they always call when you're having dinner. And call. And call. And call.
I get them even worse. If i answer the phone and it turns out to be a telemarketer of any stripe I put them on speakerphone and go on about my business while responding to them as often as necessary to keep them on the line until I eventually have to either agree or disagree to buy something. I never buy anything. I have kept them on the line for over an hour on multiple occasions. Why do I do this? Because it costs them money. For every minute of their time I waste they are not talking to a purchasing customer and are wasting money on the long distance charges. For every minute I am on the line they have one less operator available to annoy other people. And the operator I am talking to is getting their quota screwed up. I have known people who have worked those jobs(mainly because they were in desperate need of a paycheck) and the margin is very thin, if they are not making a sale they do not need to be on the line for more time than it takes to get a refusal. If they don't get enough sales and they don't make enough calls then they are out on their rears. I do have some small sympathy for the operators but the industry needs to die.

Actually, depending on the call, they can charge you for it sometimes. Then again it depends where you are, I'm in the UK. A couple of international callers get the pleasure of charging you for the call.

They can not charge me for anything unless I agree to accept the charges here in the US. Even international callers have to start any call for which you will be charged by asking you to accept the charges. Other than that the only cost is how many of my cell minutes the call takes up.

A very good example of an eye for an eye.

Good to know he was civil in his message instead of spouting several profanities at the school members. Which probably helped in making them accept the intention more and consider this all in good but aware fun.

The man got a phone call by accident, and his response is to do the exact same thing back on purpose? What a dick.
Stops the accidental phone calls though. Would you be happy by a call at 5am? No, thought not.

Anyone else picture this guy as "BatDad" from South Park? it certainly adds some funniness to the clever.

Being from PG county, I applaud this man. Those "Robocalls" (seriously, I didn't know they have a formal name) annoy the heck out of me and seldom offer any important information I couldn't receive in another format.

Congratulations are in order to this man. Well done my good sir. Very clever indeed. And somewhat humourous in its dryness.
