Again, I just love that almost musical sound stuff like that makes when it shatters in slow motion and tomorrow looks like some kind of veggie. Maybe something to crowbar? :D

Gyah, what?! I was expecting those shoes to bounce, then out of the blue they shatter. Baby shoe ornaments...? Why would anyone even create something like that?

Looks like it's a Papaya to me.

Finally, all those years of working part time in a grocery store are paying off!

Why didn't the second shoe make any noise? <.<

I've noticed this before, the initial crash is recorded, but any part or thing that lands a little later doesn't make it on to the soundtrack. Why?

Yeah, I noticed that too after the second shoe drop. Not only that, I didn't the shoes would be made out of glass. That surprised me when I heard a crash.

Huh, not actual baby shoes then, just pointless pottery mockups for use as decorative trinkets, weird...

You know, you could submit this video as a modern art piece describing that shattering moment when you realize that your childhood is over. You could make a ton of money.

I'm not certain, but I think LRR mentioned at some point that they can't slow down the sound as much as they can video and thus the video and sound can't really be made to match up. Granted, in this case it does seem that they could have edited in sound for the moment the second shoe dropped but I'm fine with the way it is.

I dont know why they sell those things. Its just an excuse for bad parenting *remembers mother made me wear a pair of ceramic shoes she made for me that would fit naturally*

Still, that was awesome. The first shoe breaking reminded me of the part in Cage the Elephant's Sweater song. Right at the end, when it starts to get sadistic.

And that, fellow Escapists, is why baby shoes should get bronzed. That is all.

And kind of produce IS that for tomorrow? Will it require multiple drops to break open, like the pumpkin and the durian?

I think some baby was saved from harm by the making of this video. "Baby's first clogs," soon followed up by "Baby's first stitches" and postponement of "Baby's first step."

My thoughts during this video

Opening sequence: Baby shoes? hmm, kind of a let down from yesterday
Setup: -yawn-
Impact: WHAT THE CRAP?!

Very nice music choice. Who would buy such things?! Other than internet video destroyer-type people.
