For ye old English me, Fallout: New Vegas came out yesterday. I pre ordered it the day before because I was considering if the caravan pack was worth anything to me. Well The answer was "What the hell" and I bought it and starting downloading it for the day.
At the moment the connection to the internet is appalling(!) my highlights of the download rate was around 60kb/s. Wow. It took me that night and the rest of the day to download and now the damn thing won't unlock, I have no clue whether this is is Steam's fault or somehow my own ignorance as I am pretty knew to whole thing.
But any help with that would be appreciated,
also any tips for to make Steam an easier place to be would be useful for any guys just starting out.

Edit: Hmmmm, okay, it turns out it is now unlocked but it just won't play.
Comes up with the steam error message - "This game is unavailable try again some other time blah"
