You do realise there is a crazy sale going on till the 2nd of January, right? They're probably swamped with problems at the moment.

My thoughts exactly. Valve's in a no win situation, since they're doing the best they can to serve a customer base primarily made up of spoiled brats.

I can call thq support and not only not have to wait on the phone long but also talk to someone who isnt from india
THQ have been around a whole lot longer than Steam.
face it, steam is doing support on the cheap and any time longer then a day to get something as simple as a password reset is bullshit, especially when it means your cut of from a large majority of your games
You realize Valve is mainly a software company that has forged their own path, right? They're sort of on their own. THQ, though a publisher as well is completely different. They have a much stronger backing and have been around for much longer. Valve could barely find people to publish the first Half Life because many thought it was too ambitious. Now look at them, they own a distribution software, develop and produce games and try and do their own support. This, coming from barely being able to find a publisher for one of the best games of all time. I think you just need a nap.

well they finaly got to me and got the thing sorted but they still did it in probably the most ass way Ive seen, the response email they sent me was in Spanish, fortinatly I can read a link, I would have a bit more sympathy for the situation if steam wasnt dominating the digital distribution market
