Damn Insects.....

Yeah, so there's an Insect infestation in my house. Specifically Termites, Bastards are mostly defeated now though. They put up one hell of a fight, infesting The Entire House and my bedroom. MY bedroom. WHY my Bedroom i ask of you Escapist? They apparently thought my Mac's Apple Scent was cause to create i Hive or something. Mac's fine now though. We managed to defeat them with Waterthough, A tub of Water, Only a few lights open, and putting the tubs below the Bastards, Wiped them out. Someone should be here tomorrow To wipe out the Queen and the rest of theBastards We haven't taken out yet.....

*Ahem* Anyway, my point in posting here beyond to gripe is to ask all of you a Question. Have any of you had a REALLY bad insect Infestation? Like, Your entire House was mobilized Infestation? Okay I'll leave all of you now to ponder.[footnote]Seems that some people didn't see my question in The MIDDLE[/footnote]

Nasty. Always a bugger when a hive gets uppity, happened down the street from me. A chimney got infested so the fireplace had to be blocked to smoke them out.
But they swarmed OUT of the chimney and over the street. Not cool

Well, I have. When I was 6, the house got infested big time by ants.
I can remember when one time I was in the bathroom, I saw an entire line - half a meter long in length - made of ants.

I started to scream hysterically and called for my parents.
Later that day we called the Bug-b-gone people and... Happy ending.

Insects just don't know when to fuck off for their own good.

Anyways, those ants, however, did return, each and every year in the summer. Like a warm Christmas.
Even now when I'm visiting Dad (whereas it was his house I lived in) I can still find cracks that the vicious ants have chewed through and gotten up to do... Whatever ants do.

There'll be no end of it. They are very... persistent.

Ants used to infest my parents kitchen, going for the sugar. We also had problems with mosquitos once in a wet summer. They were everywhere, bitting us at night.

My brother in law once had to do an eviction and inspection of a house with termites.

On the subject of others having infestations, yeah. We once had an infestation of jumping spiders in my old house. I was bitten so many times before I was 6 that now I don't even feel it.

Nothing quite like in those pictures, but at one point my house was infested with fruit flies. How can such a small, shortlived creature breed so god damned FAST?

When I was 17, I helped my dad repir a house that had been hit by termites. One wall of this guys living room was destroyed. Utterly. The 4x4s that made the frame of the wall could be crushed with one hand. If he didn't have a weight bearing chimney (Something I would have thought was retarded before this). His living room would have collapsed.

As for houses I've lived in, no. My dad and I killed 3 hives/swarms of them before they ever reached our house (With gasoline and oil).
