Here I was trying to save money like a good college student but when I logged into Steam today I saw this nice banner, "Ubisoft Week, Monday; 66% off individual titles or 75% off Complete Pack (ie $15 UDS)."

For those not aware of the Prince of Persia series, I pretty much liken it to the precursor to the Assassin Creed games when it comes to movement and is very much a platforming game series. The Sands of Time trilogy (Sands of Time, Warrior Within, and Two Thrones) are in my opinion one of the best game trilogies for the depth of characters and if you don't believe me (and haven't heard him already say it) Yahtzee pretty much labels them the some of the best games he's played

Yeah the last two weren't reviewed as good, Prince of Persia's "I can't die function" was panned all around but should I cave and get them?

(I have SoT and WW for console already)

I enojyed POP 2008, its artistic and fun and the combat is very very different. But I liked it. Platforming is normal POP fare which is great. POP combat alwasys bothered me becasue you theoreticly have lots of moves you can do and whatnot but every enemy has a weakness to a certain combo so I end up finding 2 combos and doing them over and over.

Honestly I think you're good right there. True, completing the trilogy with The Two Thrones might be nice (haven't played it myself yet, so I can't say) but if you do I'd say try to find an old copy for consoles instead. I played the GOG copy of SoT at a friends, and mouse + keyboard did not do the trick (I figure you have a gamepad, but that still needs mentioning.) As for the last two games, I've heard nothing from complaints from friends about them. So to repeat myself, I think you're good as is.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to start hoping that some of their other games don't get any cheaper. I made enough spontaneous purchases on Steam as it is.
