So we had a contractor some here tuesday to install the cable and the telephone lines, but guess what, NOW I'M LOCKED OUT OF MY EMAIL!!!! Because you apparently need Comcast's "Highspeed Internet" to connect to it, but we've had it, I've had no issues up till today, really comcast, you can go f**k yourself!!!

Perhaps a call to comcast's customer support would be more productive than spouting off on the intertubes? Your problem doesn't make any sense.

Also, Comcast is wonderful compared to Time Warner Cable, so I have zero sympathy.

Great discussion value here.

Call customer service, and get your problem taken care of. That's all you can do.

Yeah, also the tech support for comcast is awful, really we've called them about our internet before, we were on hold for 2 hours, and they couldn't fix the problem, I mean really the guys they have doing support are asshats in every sense of the word, they take forever to actually talk too and the advice they give is crap. Really I'd rather just open up the router my self and start cutting wires...

I had to deal with comcast for a few years when it was the only high speed (can't say the with a straight face) service in the area. It was awful.

We lost our connection at least once every night, sometimes for several hours. Their customer service was completely useless to us as well. After losing our over-priced, under performing connection for two days, we kept calling to find out when we would have service again and got 7 different stories as to what the problem was.

Verizon Fios was the best thing that ever happened to us. I don't blame you for being pissed off. Comcast is a terrible company.

Try sending Comcast an email instead. I've never used Comcast before, and from what I've heard I never plan to, but from what I've been seeing it seems their customer base needs to rise up and stick all of their complaints directly up Comcast's ass to remind them that THEY are serving YOU, not the other way around.

Frankly the only actual problem with my router itself is the fact that it drops my DNS a lot, but usually it never get to the point where I ever have to call the idiots on the comcast hotline, really I mean I play LoL a lot and I have issues maybe once every 12 games (And an average game of LoL can run between 1 hour and 30 minutes)

Epic freudian slip. Capcom =/= Comcast, they are two very different corporations. =)

OT, Get in contact with customer service somehow? Complaining on the internet in an anonymous forum isn't going to do anything for you, and even if customer service sucks you're at least being constructive and trying to fix the problem.

Damn. I can't believe I did that three times in a row. You know, I had originally written the first sentence in another way and I had Capcom there too, but I noticed it and changed it. How it ever got back to being that way I do not know...
