Sounds fantastic, enjoyed the first couple of Phoenix Wright games, but haven't played any in a while. This should be a nice substitute. Am going to buy it tomorrow when it releases down under.

Yaaaay.

I preordered the hell out of this game, and pretty much played it non-stop once I got it. I love it. The characters are all pretty amazing (Even though I knew which deaths were coming, I was still pretty sad when they happened), The "Blackened" are all played in a pretty sympathetic light, and that pink blood. Oh how I do love that pink blood.

Although no game is perfect, and this one has some pretty glaring flaws. For example, there's a lot of gifts, and it's pretty much impossible to tell which gifts to give to which character. Sure, some are obvious, the Otaku likes anime figurines, the Swimmer who likes donuts loves the flotation ring that looks like a donut, but others... well, let's just say I needed a guide to tell me that some are pretty much worthless (no one actually likes the sunflower seeds)
Also, what's with some of these weird translations? Genocider Syo becomes Genocide Jack? why?

I haven't played the game yet but I assume it's a reference to Jack the Ripper or something like that.

Wait, transphobic?
If its the character I'm thinking about, it can be just as problematic to assume one must be a transexual.

Seriously, considering the human psyche is still an enigma with multiple forms of studying still being viable but imperfect to this day, a cissexual can't temporarily identify as a girl?
Are we gonna call Guilty Gear Xrd transphobic too if Bridget is still in a skirt and genital-obscuring bike shorts?

Its like Naoto when she still acts masculine at the end of her arc, but gets progressively more like an intelligent tomboy where her gender shouldn't matter than "playing pretend" like her shadow suggests.

Because buttons.

And anyone who still is saying "But the Vita has no gaaaaaaaaaames" should be shot into the sun.

Because this game was originally made for PSP in Japan, and it was just that much easier to add a couple of touchscreen/rear touchpad features instead of implementing a whole new interface and movement scheme.

Also, probably to promote Vita.

Damn right. I bought it basically for (then upcoming) Danganronpa and Virtue's Last Reward, because I decided I had enough disposable income to not cry about that decision in the future, but as it turned out, PSV's library is pretty damn awesome.
