I'm curious how they handled divvying up the various circles of hell, since there are nine of those, but only six directors.

Actually, that brings up a good point.

Why didn't they divide the circles of hell among nine directors, instead of calling upon six directors to direct the same story?

Metaphorically, all they're doing is asking six chefs to bake the same cake. Wouldn't we rather have nine chefs making nine different cakes?

So tell me, does Beatrice show up in the actual game, too? I didn't see any mention of a woman in the game, apart from the demon women. And I also highly doubt that the original poem involved saving a (murdered) damsel in distress from the deepest circle of hell.

I have to admit that I was planning on writing this off as trite garbage before I saw them mention that the director of possibly my favorite anime, Ergo Proxy, was involved. I may have to check this out after all.
