Dark cloud 2

I F*N LOVE DARK CLOUD 2. I think it's exactly as a game should be, light hearted story, visoral combat (sorry if i spelled that wrong) and well rounded characters. But whenever i bring up the game i always get people goin "what is that?" so i ask of you, the gaming public to tell me if i'm the only one who knows this game.

Eh. The Dark Cloud series was alright.
Nothing spectacular, in my opinion.

I know of it, but I never actually played it.


I played the first one, and I remember enjoying it quite a bit. Up until a point were I was forced to play as characters that I hadn't used, which meant that I would have to have spent a lot of time leveling them up. I sort of just stopped playing at that point.

Great game! but for whatever reason I never finished it. Lots of grinding which I hated but also lots, and I mean LOTS, of extra stuff to do -- which might have lead to me not actually finishing it, had too much fun fishing and town building.lolz

Dark Cloud 2 was amazing...shame it never got a PSP edition and no PS3/360 DC3 has been announced.

If I found someone with both a functioning PS2 and a copy of DC2 I would steal them and play it until the police carted me away.

I played part of DC1 on emulator. I was intrigued... I think I may have to invest in a PS2 and look on eBay for that and DC2... and the Kingdom Hearts games...

I loved DC/DC2. I have them myself. I always loved the weapon upgrade system for both games, though DC2's expanded system got annoying when you had to kill a specific enemy. An enemy that was 6 dungeons away.

The stories were nice, and I enjoyed them. Sadly I never beaten both, but I've always attempted.

I Just picked up Dark Chronicle/Dark Cloud 2 the other day for my ps2 and my JRPG collection... now i can finally play it again for the first time in YEARS!
