I believe I can safely say, if you like The Twilight Zone, you'll love this movie.

I'm not going to try and spoil too much of this movie. Its starts out with two honeymooners in a motel, somewhere outside of Vegas. They had a Vegas style mariage, and so the man knows very little about his wife, and the wife very little about her husband. Hey, they're young and in love, what can go wrong? Well, they start their journey home, and there seemed to be not that much unusual about it, untill they take a shortcut. They nearly run into a man that has wrecked his car, and this is where the movie takes a much darker turn. From that point I can't say much without ruining the movie, so you'll have to watch it to figure out what happens from there.

The director is also the actor of the main character, Thomas Jane. His name in the film is Richard(Dick), and his screen-play is fairly decent, its nothing amazing, but its not horrible. His wife Gina(Lauren German), however, did not have such a good screenplay. Sometimes, it seemed as if she did not care about what was happening, or she cared far too much. I think she could have done much better. Ron Perlman makes an apperance as a sheriff, and his time on screen was excellent(like it usually is), but its so breif, it seems as though they added him just to get more people to watch it.

Its done in a rather unique style, I wouldn't call it grindhouse, but it is in the same pool. It feels like an old T.V. movie rather than a big movie. It was orginally intended to be 3-D, so they're some scene in which the characters make movements toward the cameras that seem somewhat silly. Overall, the movies unique style really drawed me in, made it feel different from the usual hollywood garbage. Again, I say it feels as though this is straight from the Twilight Zone, so yes it is a horror movie, but its not conveintional horror, Something I haven't seen in awhile.

When it comes down to it, I say it is worth a rent, and if you really like it, a buy. Right now, it is only on DvD, but they're talking about releasing it in theatres soon, in full fledged 3-D. So you could wait and see if this is true and see it then. I give it an eight out of ten. A very good film, it could have been better, but its well worth your money.

This review is alright, I guess.
It's rather short, and not particularly descriptive.

I haven't seen any ads for it yet, but I'll keep my eyeballs open for it.
You know, I hadn't ethier before I rented it, I was having some friends coming over and they said they liked horror, so I picked it up hoping they would like it.
