Has anyone played this one?

It looks decent enough and survival horror-ish in more the Project Zero (Fatal Frame) Style, mixed with some Condemned Criminal Origins.

There's no Demo out there and I don't want to really look at Youtube video's in case of spoilers. and I never go by reviews as there very bias most of the time (IGN)

I Just don't want to blow ?25.19 (10% off atm normally ?27.99) on a rubbish game.

It's not so much Survival Horror as Horror Adventure, like Scratches (prerendered backgrounds with camera panning over them). This is the 3rd game in the pretty-much-indie series, so if you didn't play the first two, you might find the third one low budget lacking. Also see the snore-tastic Lost Crown: A Ghosthunting Adventure by the same developer.

I'm guessing Penumbra has more of that Condemned vibe.

Weeeeell, if you got all the Penumbras Penumbrae the entire Penumbra trilogy for just 5 quid, paying 5 times that for a single Dark Fall game is a bit "eh". Might as well invest in the Celestial Steed
