Owlcat’s Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy recently received a new beta, giving fans more insight into the game’s backstory, how combat plays out, and several other elements of the title. For those unfamiliar, Dark Heresy is Owlcat’s follow-up to Rogue Trader, another Warhammer 40,000 CRPG set in the same universe but focused on agents of the Inquisition rather than a rogue trader’s crew.
The beta is a notable step forward compared to the previous alpha, with the character creator now enabled and refined, and a proper glimpse at how the level-up system works.
