Dark Messiah Multiplayer Question

I've recently discovered this games awesome online, and I saw that there is DLC. Since they're classes and maps, if I buy them can I not play with the people who don't have them?

This is the X-Box version, if that matters.

I didn't know that Dark Messiah's online community was active. I should give it a try.

I started a server, and after a few minutes two people joined.

After we played for an hour or two more and more people starting coming and after a while the server was full.

It just takes time. If you want, I'll private message you when I'm going to play.

On PC its pretty dead. but normally at least a couple of busy servers.

dont know anything about the DLC sorry.

I been trying to figure out multiplayer so long. its the most confusing game i've ever played. very buggy at times, and just generally full of anoying dodgy design. example I have to equip a separate set of daggers to cloak...

the whole multiplayer could be AWESOME if was supported properly but as it is it just gives me a massive fucking headache.
