Because it looks like a fun game that would be a solid fit on the PC?Valdus said:Why do you want it on PC? So we can hear the PC fanboys complain about more "console ports"? If you spend large amounts of money on a comp built for gaming you're just going to have to accept that not every game is going to be available. The console fans accept this (hell they have to considering how many games are PC exclusive) so why can the PC fans suck it up and do the same?
I really dislike this sort of passive-aggressive stance a lot of people in the gaming community have. Who cares about what platform a game is on? If it's a good game then it should be on as many platform as possible so that as many people as possible could play it. That's a good thing.
The only time that becomes a problem is when the developers either do a shoddy job porting a game (No one likes that regardless of the platform after all!) or the game is so homogenized in an attempt to appeal to as wide a base as possible that it fails to have any real strengths. In general however I see no reason for a game no to be made available to as many potential fans as possible, that's why I'm happy Witcher 2 is coming to the 360 and wish the developers the best of luck with that. Despite it probably never being something I'd play myself, I was sad when I heard the port for the first Witcher game was cancelled.
A good game is a good game and as many people should play it as possible, especially so when it seems like the sort of game that would be a natural fit.
