JUST BEAT THE GAME. Time to go again, but oh god was the feeling of victory satisfying.

No, they're talking about the Black Knight guarding the Blue Tearstone Ring. Not a particularly useful ring but it's better than nothing if you can get it.Morthello said:AlternatePFG said:Yeah, it's outside that door.Corporal Yakob said:Is the way up the tower on the battlements, outside that misty door? Because I ran up several floors and the stair-case to the next one was broken causing me to go outside, flashback to that Dragon I saw, panic and run forwards into the goat-demon.
Is the item worth the fight? I nearly beat him with firebombs and gold resin enhanced swordsmanship. Nearly >_>
Oh and is it possible to lower the visor on a knightly helm so it hides your face?
The item is a ring, I personally don't think it's that useful to be worth fighting him for, but it's really your decision.
Edit: You can suicide charge him, and try to get past and get the ring without killing him any way.
I don't believe you can close the visor on your knightly helm. I dunno, I didn't pick knight, I picked warrior.
Wait if your talkin about Havel i thought he drops the ring if you kill him not guarding it. Thats how i got it anyway. And the ring awsome if your a heavy armor wearer. It ups you equipment burden rating so much that you can move around like a thief in heavy plate.

Why not just, you know, run past him? Also, have you rung the first bell yet? If not, you're not exactly proceeding on the right path trying to get past the demon.

This needs to stop. If you don't like what the person is saying than just add them to your ignore list. There is no need to antagonize the person or risk getting into trouble with the moderators.QueenOliver said:Ta da! And he does it again! Make sure to jump attack the Taurus demon, I didn't and it took me a while to beat him. My advice on parry/riposte: You can practice it if you want, but there are a lot of enemies you can't do that too, and it's too unreliable IMO...suomynonA said:Just bought it today. Any tips at all? I kinda just dived in with a Knight which basically means I lose 4 points of potential stats, I think, right? Anyway, I'm already enjoying having my ass kicked and trying to time the parry and riposte. Made it up to the Taurus Demon and I'll probably beat him when I start to play again tonight.
I already beat the Taurus demon earlier tonight when I decided to play again (basically just did the plunge attack 3 or 4 times, yup. I can see myself playing the game in little chunks getting a bit further each time I play. Which kinda works for me right now since I'm busy often. I just reached the Undead Parish the last time I stopped playing, and I died at the beginning since I don't really have a good weapon right now (even backstabbing the boar 3 times didn't kill him) and don't have the dexterity to use a bow to obtain the Drake Sword.Itsthefuzz said:Make sure to jump attack the Taurus demon, I didn't and it took me a while to beat him. Though, it might pay off to learn to parry most everything possible, the last boss himself is parry-able(OH GOD I HATED HIM, only because he LITERALLY swings and never stops, I only won by kiting him around a pillar.) Probably could have been easy if I could have parried all his moves, but I'm bad at it.
He is ignoring points. It is dishonest. I do not appreciate it. I am going to call him on it, especially since I predicted it. I do not simply "ignore" arguments I disagree with. I believe that invalidates the entire purpose of debate and discussion. I am perfectly capable of civil debate when the other party is, but even if that is not the case, I base the insults on the arguments and not the arguments on the insults.gof22 said:This needs to stop. Probably depends on how you are set up. I found Blighttown pretty challenging but I agree it is not a patch on the Valley Of Defilement in terms of annoyance. Most of my deaths were me instinctively rolling out the way of an attack and off a cliff.AlternatePFG said:I'm wondering, what's so bad about Blighttown? Yeah, I had a couple deaths from falling there, but didn't have any issue with the toxin dart guys or being poisoned.Tallim said:Probably depends on how you are set up. is the ceaseless discharge the giant lava thing near the gold hemmed armour? because you can kill him unarmed if you want, just aggro him untill he starts chasing you then run to the fog gate, when he lunges at you attack his fist(?) a few times and he falls off into the bottomless pit, easy kill, but dont continue on unless you think you can kill 4-6b taures demonsAlternatePFG said:Yeah, I had a couple deaths from falling there, but didn't have any issue with the toxin dart guys or being poisoned.Tallim said:Probably depends on how you are set up. You're not supposed to fight Ceaseless Discharge right after Queelag, right? Cause I went over there and got pounded into a fine paste. Ah well, I least I got a set of kickass armor out of it.
