Dark Souls, which version should I buy?

Well hello and other greetings, people willing to listen to my 'problem'!

Might as well just get to the thick of it, I like Dark Souls. I've played Dark Souls, and now I want to buy Dark Souls. I don't know which 'version' would be best to buy, however.
Background information! I've played Dark Souls on the Xbox 360, and was even considering buying it on the console, until I heard about a PC version being released. So I thought to myself "Hey, I like the possible advantages that a PC version could bring, so I'll just wait for that and buy it!" And so I did, the waiting part, not the buying part, otherwise I wouldn't be here.
Anyways, then the PC version gets released, then I start hearing about problems the PC version has, like nonadjustable graphical settings (though that's already been fixed) and terrible, nonadjustable controls.
And so, we finally come to the part that concerns you, dear reader. What do? Do I:

-Just buy the console version (and buy the extra content, if it's any good that is)
-Buy the PC version, which could bite me in the ass because of aforementioned control issues and I don't have a damn clue how to play PC games with an Xbox controller.

Feel free to recommend other courses of action, as I'm sure I'm not smart/knowledgeable enough to have listed every possibility. Also, have a nice day and thank you for bothering to spend your time reading this and/or considering to help me.

EDIT:
Okay, one more thing I should probably bring up, I don't have a wired Xbox 360 controller, just wireless ones. I have however looked into using Xbox controllers to play games on a PC recently, which brought up another question.
Should I buy a wired Xbox controller, or should I buy a receiver to work with the wireless controllers I already have? From what I've found, a receiver would be cheaper. But I don't know if that adds any more hassle to the process or not. Or maybe there's some other option I'm completely missing here, I dunno.

Without a doubt, you should buy the PC version.
PC games have active modding communities that fix the problems faster than a game will patch.

Somebody already created a fix for the PC dark souls that lets you adjust the resolution to true 1080P, and adjust the AA and AF settings. Here's the file.

I have no experience with either version, but I can give you a rough idea of what it takes to play a game with an Xbox 360 controller. Assuming you have a wired one, it's just as simple as plugging it in. Now there is a small chance it might not work for you, but that's unlikely, and, from my understanding, the fixes aren't too hard (googling Xbox 360 controller drivers should probably get you what you need, although I've never had to do it myself). That said, make sure you plug in the controller before you start the game, as often times it won't work if you plug it in afterwards (I'm pretty sure Dark Souls has this problem).

What this person said.
It's GFWL so if you have an XBoX controller, just plug it into your PC.
If you have a PS3 controller, or a generic Logitech controller, you're gonna need to download MotionJoy and run it as a 360 controller emulator, to trick your PC into thinking it's 360 controller.

If you can find a controller for your PC, get the PC version, edit the resolution and enjoy yourself.
If not then fuck the PC version because from what I've heard it's a terrible port.

Xbox 360 version, unless you already have a PC controller and don't mind fiddling with settings and shit.
