There was a thread about that article about a week ago and I remember reading the hilariously bias IGN thread. Someone posted how you can't spell ignorant without IGN and it made me chuckle.
Anyway, as for the question posed by the OP, I've never played Demon's Souls and have no bases of comparison for Dark Souls. Wasn't Demon's Soul a PS3 exclusive? I may try Dark Souls but I'mm definitely getting Skyrim.
I found it hilarious that IGN went on about Skyrim being single-player with no online capabilities. At this point in the game, fans of the Elder Scrolls games know to expect those games to be strong single-player experiences. You might as well comment about Dark Souls being a multi-console game whereas it's predecessor was a PS3 exclusive...Well maybe not. I dunno, it's difficult to think of a good analogy while tired.
