Dark souls , your first impression?

So i just bought dark souls like 10 seconds ago so no spoilers please .

For those of you who already have a copy how is it? Does it live up to your expectation? Is it a worhy spiritual sequel to demons's souls? Is it as hard as demons souls? Are you pleased? Dissapointed?

I like it a lot so far. My only real complaint is the framerate drops I encounter on the PS3 version (don't have xbox live gold so no real choice).

They removed some of the more tedious/annoying mechanics from the first one and I strongly approve of that. For instance, World Tendency was kicked out on it's ass.

I can see people complaining about it, it was an interesting mechanic but you can't deny it was incredibly finicky far and beyond not even explained. If you wanted to play online and maintain a world tendency, you basically couldn't as every time you logged on all your worlds would shift one step to what the global tendency was (protip: all of them were pretty much always white).

They also removed the item limit (I think anyways) and item weight, though there's still equipment weight. This solves the problem of not being able to pick up an item then having it disappear when you reloaded the level.

Ha , i guess no one played dark souls yet / or just don't care to comment . O well i guess i'll wait till people ahve finished it to start talking aout it :/
